A new Day Nursery, The Hyde Nursery in Barnet, located in the Hyde Building on Church Passage, is on course to open officially this September, with the first cohort of children due to settle in at the end of August.
The iconic Barnet building has undergone extensive renovations and has been filled with hand-picked resources, and is now open for prospective families to book their personal tour with the team.
The Ofsted-registered Nursery will offer 88 places to children aged between 12 weeks and 5 years, and features a garden room with free-flow access to a secure outdoor area, as well as an atelier to hone children’s creative ambitions.
Nursery Manager Gillian Storey said: “Our wonderful new Day Nursery in the Hyde building has been through months of renovation, and we’re finally ready to open the doors to families looking for amazing early childhood experiences for their children.
“As a resident of Barnet myself and with over 20 years’ experience in childcare, I’m thrilled to be overseeing the opening of the Nursery, and we’ve already been welcomed so warmly by the community.
“We’re in a great position close to the high street, and a personal tour is a fantastic opportunity to come along, find out more about what we do and take a peep inside this wonderful building which has been given a new lease of life.”
The Hyde Nursery is the tenth setting for CC Nurseries Group, which already provides inspirational Early Childhood Learning and Care for over 800 families in settings across England and Scotland.
Chief Operating Officer and Head of Nurseries for CC Nurseries Group, Andrew Clifford said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring our brilliant Early Years provision to Barnet.
“To have the heritage of the Hyde Building as the backdrop to the early childhood experiences we’re able to provide is a fantastic opportunity, not just for our children and families, but our teams too.
“The Hyde joins our two other successful settings in London, and we look forward to breathing new life into this historical building and bring learning and life back to its heart.”
